Social service department also providing round the year service. Main services provided by the social welfare department at NIDCH are the follows;
- Assist and encourage the poor, helpless and distressed patient for admission and avail treatment facility.
- Help poor patients by provide medicine and financial support for pathological test.
- Help patients to get blood from voluntary donor.
- Distribute clothes among poor and helpless patients.
- Provide conveyance to the poor patients.
- Provide other support like wheel chair, room healer, trolley etc
